My story

Will I be happy to see you? Why yes! I’m happy to see everyone! Want a sweet dog? I’m it and I’m Twinkie, I’m told I fit my name.Crate trained? Why yes, I sleep all night in it and when my foster parents are away (I may object a few times as I don’t know they’re going away and I wonder why I’m not with them like normal). Otherwise I’m a quiet pup. Leash trained? Yes! I walk amazingly well on leash. I love exploring the neighborhood. I may be easily distracted but that just means I get back walking like I should. I’m not bad at all. Other dogs? I haven’t met a dog I didn’t like. And play? Love to play! With you, myself or other dogs. Do you have kids? I am absolutely in LOVE with kids. I would love love love to have some of my own! I’ve had an accident but we’re all just getting to know each other, my signals and where I need to head. I’m getting it quick, quick learner that I am (I knew my name by the end of the first day).Come on out and meet me or fill out an application and we’ll see if you love me, in my journey to Minnesota I truly was already loved, it’s what I enjoy receiving, if you have it, I sure do as well! Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
