My story

Meet Lucy! She came to us with a leg injury that required amputation, but is doing excellent in her recovery. She is shy initially, especially with men, but is coming around in a loving foster home and seeks out companionship. She is excellent with other dogs, cats are unknown. She would prefer not to be crated and we are working on consistent housebreaking, which may be related to her changed mobility. The ideal home would have another confident but gentle companion animal to help her gain her own confidence, and someone home during the day to support housebreaking.
