My story

Hi, I’m Cara — a sweet, affectionate, and active girl who’s ready for a new adventure. I’m house-trained, leash-savvy, and will even whine at the door to let you know when I need to go out. I adore kids and have been very tolerant and gentle with little ones, even letting them climb on me or hold my paws. I love meeting new people and can get excited (okay, I might jump a bit), but I settle down quickly and love giving kisses. I’ve lived peacefully with another dog and do well with others as long as introductions are slow and in a neutral space — I can be a little protective of my home, so a thoughtful introduction goes a long way. I don’t react to other dogs on walks and tend to have a gentle, go-with-the-flow personality. I’m food-motivated, happy to clean up any stray crumbs, and I love hiking, running, car rides (shotgun preferred!), and curling up at the foot of the bed. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a loving heart and a playful spirit, I might be your perfect match.
