You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.***come meet me this Saturday, August 23 in Concord, NH from 10am to 3 pm*** Daisy has been through alot in her young life. We were contacted about a young pyr mix stray that was hanging out with children in a campground. She would follow them on their bikes dragging her front left leg We got her and found out her front leg had been shot and the nervea were dead. We needed to have it amputated.Daisy hasn’t missed a beat—she’s happy, active, and loving life on three legs! This gentle girl adores people of all ages, including kids, and loves attention and petting, and she’s always ready to greet you with a wag and a smile. Daisy loves playtime—whether it’s romping around with other dogs or entertaining herself with toys—and when she’s ready to wind down, she’ll find the sunniest spot in the house for a peaceful nap. Daisy’s the perfect mix of playful and mellow, confident and cuddly. She’s looking for a forever home where she’ll be loved just as she is—because three legs don’t slow her down one bit. Daisy’s personality traits include: Friendly with all people, great with other dogs, loves sunbathing and naps, playful and independent, sweet with kids, loves car rides. Ready to welcome a resilient ray of sunshine into your life? Adopt Daisy and fall in love with her joy-filled spirit! Please visit our website for more info on our adoption process and adoption application www.barkdogfarm.org Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researched Great Pyrenees. They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash. You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries. Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called. A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place. If all are in agreement an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid. Adoption fees for dogs are $500. for adults over 12 months, $600 for puppies 12 months and younger. Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized. This may involve young puppies be given until a certain age to be altered.
