My story

Meet Danner – the Mighty Mini Marvel 🐾 At just 10 weeks old, Danner may be the smallest of his litter, but his heart is anything but tiny. With big guardian energy packed into a pint-sized frame, this little guy is full of courage, charm, and cuddles. Danner came to us at only 3 weeks old with a broken leg and strangles, but he’s been a fighter from day one. As he’s grown, he’s learned to use his injured leg by buckling it under himself. While amputation might be a possibility in the future, the orthopedic specialist currently doesn’t see a need. If that changes, the rescue will cover the surgery through our vet—no worries there. He’s great with people, kids, dogs, and even cats. Danner loves snuggling, car rides, and chasing after toys—especially if a kid or another pet is already playing with them. He’s still trying to master the doggy door, but he’s getting close! Danner is sweet, spirited, and full of love. He’s looking for a special forever home that sees the warrior and snuggle-bug he is.
