My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pecan came to us after he was surrendered by a local breeding operation. He will be 3 years old in December and looks to be a mix of miniature Australian shepherd and miniature poodle (mini aussiedoodle). He's a pretty shy guy right now but has the potential to be a lovely companion. He will be vet checked and neutered on Aug. 21st and his fee is $150. Pecan is a mix of two active and intelligent breeds. He will require some basic training and regular exercise. He will need consistent grooming as he has a dense, curly coat. We do think he would be okay with other dogs but have no way of knowing about cats. He would do best in an adult only home. Kids over 10 would be fine.  NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
