My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Almond is a 2 year old poodle who came to us after he was surrendered from a small, local breeding operation. He's too large to be considered a miniature and too small to be a standard. He's 25 pounds of bouncy fun. He will be vet checked and neutered on Aug. 19th and his fee is $150. Almond will need a little bit of basic training but is young and ready to learn. He keeps his kennel clean at the shelter so that's a big plus. He will require regular exercise and grooming. He has a very tightly curled coat. We do think he'd be okay with other dogs and older kids. We have no way of knowing about cats.  NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.  We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
