My story

Meet Marmie!Marmie is a playful, curious girl who loves to explore and be part of the action. She can seem a little standoffish when you first meet her—not because she’s shy, but because she’s more interested in her surroundings. Once she warms up, she’s affectionate, cuddly, and happiest near her people. She loves to be close and may whine or bark if she can’t see you.She does wonderfully with other dogs and would likely enjoy a home with a canine buddy. She’s shown calm, respectful interest in cats. Marmie is polite and friendly on walks and in public settings, though she may bark when people approach the house or if she hears other dogs barking.Marmie is food-motivated and working on her basic commands—she’s got “sit” down pretty well and is learning more each day. She’s potty trained but will still need a consistent routine to ensure no accidents. She is doing great with crate training, especially when given strong chew toys and a cozy spot to sleep at night.With a little patience and a lot of love, Marmie will make an amazing companion!
