Meet Luna – Smart, Sweet, and Ready to Play!Luna is a 3-year-old German Shepherd with a big heart and an even bigger love for tennis balls. At around 85 pounds, she’s enjoying daily games of fetch to shed a few pounds—and she’s got a perfect “drop it” every time. She knows “sit,” listens beautifully, and is showing signs she might know even more!Luna has been a total sweetheart since arriving—great with staff and volunteers, calm even when other dogs get noisy, and always eager to please. We haven’t fully tested her with other dogs yet, but she’s shown very promising behavior and may do well with the right intro.She’d thrive in a home with a fenced yard, an active routine, and someone ready to continue light training and give her the structure Shepherds love. She`s not overly jumpy or pushy—just a gentle, happy girl looking for her forever family.Oh—and she does shed (wild Shepherd tumbleweeds, anyone?), but we promise she’s worth every lint roller.Luna’s ready to be your loyal sidekick—come meet her today and see just how special she is!**Please note that the breed listed for each of our dogs is a rough estimate unless DNA results are provided in their Bio. All strays have rough estimates of their age based on the condition of their teeth.Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. Our adoption process might require multiple visits to the shelter before our dogs can go home. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It really depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. Once we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.
