My story

DOB August 1, 2017 This sweet, gentle lady has the softest heart and the calmest vibe. She spent seven happy years with her first family before life changes meant they couldn’t keep her. Now she’s looking for her forever home. She’s independent but enjoys affection on her terms. When she wants pets, she’ll give you a little head bump or look at you with sleepy half-closed eyes until you scratch her head (or, even better, behind her ears, her absolute favorite!). If you hold your hand out, she’ll bring her head forward for pets, or tip her chin up when she wants a good chin rub. Sometimes she’ll even rest her cheek in your hand and flop down on the floor in total bliss. She’s not a fan of being picked up, but she loves having you nearby, quietly keeping her company. She has a nightly ritual: batting around her little mouse toy (which happens to be filled with catnip, until she’s sniffed out all the good stuff!). She often naps under the TV stand so she can keep an eye on the household without being in the middle of the action. She adores the sound of jingling keys, rolls over on the floor when she’s extra happy, and will gladly take a treat straight from your fingers. She is *incredibly* calm. No drama, no fuss, no fighting, just pure peace. She loves cozy corners where she can feel safe and watch the world go by. Though shy at first, she responds wonderfully to food and treats. You can win her heart (and her trust) with a few tasty bites or churos. With patience, kindness, and a quiet home, she’ll reward you with trust, affection, and the kind of companionship that make a house feel like home.
