My story

This beautiful girl is Stormy! She was surrendered to the shelter on 8/5 because her person is moving and Stormy is not able to join them. Her former owner did note that sweet Stormy is good with children and other dogs. The volunteers describe Stormy as very friendly and playful. She is eager to please and attentive to the people around her. She should learn new things quickly, and she does already know how to sit nicely when asked. If you're looking for a young, active new BFF to join you on all of life's grand adventures, please come meet Stormy! Stormy is approximately 11 months old and weighs 34 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Stormy is waiting patiently in run 850; her ID # is 12521. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
