  Meet Donna Kaye – A True Southern Belle with a Heart of Gold    Donna Kaye is a precious 5-year-old, 17-pound Dachshund mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love just waiting to bloom. Rescued from a tough life in Mississippi, where she lived outdoors among many unspayed and unneutered animals, this brave little former momma dog has already come so far.   When Donna Kaye first arrived in Tennessee, she was timid and unsure of the world around her. But thanks to a warm, patient, and loving foster home in Nashville, she’s slowly but surely blossoming into the sweet and confident girl she was always meant to be. Each day, she peeks a little further out of her shell — learning to trust, to love, and to live.   Now crate trained and well on her way with potty training, Donna Kaye is thriving under the guidance of a seasoned Dachshund-loving foster mom. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, chickens, and gentle children who respect her quiet nature and personal space.   Donna Kaye forms deep bonds with her people — she’s the kind of loyal companion who would love nothing more than to sleep at your side at night and ride shotgun on all of life’s adventures. With her soft eyes, tender spirit, and resilient heart, she’s ready for a forever home where she’ll be cherished like the princess she truly is.   This little lady has known hard times, but her future is shining bright.
