My story

"Rusty is a beautiful red fawn boy with a calm nature and a quiet charm. A little shy at first, he warms up beautifully with a bit of time and quickly becomes a cuddly, friendly, and even cheeky companion once he’s settled in. He absolutely loves the comfort of home life—happy to lounge about inside, play in the yard, or head out for a gentle stroll. While he enjoys his walks, he doesn't need one every day, making him a great fit for a relaxed household. Rusty has lived peacefully with a confident Jack Russell but preferred the company of a gentle female Labrador, so he'd do best either on his own or with a calm, medium-sized female dog. He adores kids and would suit a quiet family or a retiree looking for a loving, low-maintenance companion. With his sweet nature and love for the simple things, Rusty is ready to bring warmth, affection, and calm companionship to his forever home. Rusty was assessed to be cat and small dog workable. He has been with kids ages 5 yrs and older. He never raced.
