Meet Rabbit - a girl who is looking for the peace and serenity that comes from a calm and stable environment. When she first arrived at the shelter she was super shy and unsure about what was going on - even showing distrust in the humans that were helping her. Even with her first doggie playgroup, she tended to stay on the outskirts with another shy dog, not really engaging in play. With time and patience, she has learned the routine and has come to love snuggling up with our volunteers. Volunteers report that she appreciates a good belly scratch, long walks, flopping around in the grass. She would benefit from a calm, patient home with humans who understand a dog's need to decompress after living the shelter life. Trust and safety is what will help her continue to thrive and be her goofy, lovable self.If you're interested in learning more about her, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Rabbit - 261547".She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be spayed prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Primary Color: Red Gold Weight: 49 Age: 1yrs 1mths 4wks
