My story

Meet Tottie—a gentle soul with a heart full of resilience and joy! She may be new here, but she’s already stealing hearts with her calm, curious nature and sweet personality. Tottie is a slow mover who loves taking her time to sniff and explore, and she’s always happy to accept a gentle treat (which she takes with perfect manners). She appears to be housebroken and is as easygoing as they come.Recently, Tottie attended an adoption event where she proved to be an absolute star. She hopped in the car with just a little boost for her back legs, then rode like a pro, contently watching the world go by. At the event, she charmed adults and kids alike, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and soft sniffs, and showing off her curious side as she strolled the plaza and enjoyed the breeze. She was unfazed by cats, calm around other dogs, and equally happy making friends or simply relaxing nearby.Tottie seems to have had a bumpy road before arriving at BARCS, but you’d never know it from her warm, friendly spirit. She’s on the mend from some skin irritation and getting better every day. With her pep, charm, and gentle ways, Tottie is ready for her next adventure—one that ends with her forever family.Tottie has met other dogs at the shelter, she is a social gentle girl!Come to BARCS to meet Tottie or one of her friends.
