My story

Bronco is a 62 lb. bundle of cuteness looking for a home to help him blossom into the confident, happy pup we know he wants to be! Bronco can be a little bit reserved in new environments and will adjust quickest with someone next to him to guide him along with positive reinforcement and yummy soft treats. That being said, he absolutely loves attention from his human counterparts (with a slow approach of course), and once you`ve earned his trust, you can bet he`ll be all up on you asking for more pets! Bronco is still working on his socialization, and to other dogs, he seems to come off a bit more confident. If you`ve got another dog at home, we highly recommend a dog-to-dog be done here at the shelter to ensure both dogs will be a good fit for each other. Come on in and meet Bronco today!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
