My story

Meet Marina 2 (Blaze)!Blaze may be a little shy at first, but once you get to know him, you’ll see what a gentle, loving pup he truly is. He walks calmly on leash and enjoys exploring the yard with his nose to the ground, though he’s quick to come when called—especially if treats are involved! Blaze is very food motivated and takes his snacks ever so gently. He is very attentive to his person. This playful boy absolutely loves his toys and will happily entertain himself, but he also enjoys spending time with his people. He’s easy to handle, housebroken, and has a sweet, gentle soul. He loves pets, affection, belly rubs, and butt scratches! Blaze came to the shelter in need of some TLC, and with the care he’s receiving, he’s blossoming into the best boy he can be.Marina 2 (Blaze) has met other dogs at the shelter, he was tense and prefers polite friends. He may need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.Blaze is ready to find a patient, caring home where he can continue to thrive—could it be with you?
