My story

Hello, my name is Atlas! I am a 1 year old male Weimaraner that weighs approx. 65lbs. I was surrendered due to my previous family moving and not being able to take me along. I am now looking for my FURever home! I was raised around other dogs, cats, and children. I am crate trained and very willing to learn your schedule to be house trained. RAC staff will be in touch with approved applicants in order to schedule a meet and greet. My adoption fee is $125 which includes my neuter, rabies, microchip, basic yearly boosters, and heartworm test. I will be required to return to RAC on Wednesday, 8/13/25, for my neuter and rabies vaccine.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
