My story

Coming 8/23 Found on the streets of South Texas with Violet in a known dumping area. They came right up to rescuers ready to be saved! They have been in foster care in Texas and will be making their freedom ride up to Colorado 8/23 From Current foster: Built like a little fox, Daisy is the perfect size. At just under 20 lbs, she is the perfect travel companion. She loves all dogs big & small (she may feel intimidated by a much larger dog at first) and loves children. She absolutely could live in a home with a cat, but it would be best if it was an adult cat that can set clear boundaries, as she has a chase drive. Her leash manners need some work, she is happy to walk on a leash, as long as you're going where she wants to go! Squeaky toys are her absolute favorite. She is a CHEWER, don't let those little teeth fool you, she will fish your dirty laundry out of the hamper and chew a hole in them in three minutes, but when re-directed with a tasty chew, she will make the right decision! She loves to cuddle and is nothing but sugar. She is social and extremely people friendly, but it may take longer to approach a big, burly man. She is eager to please and quick to learn (and if you have cheese or chicken, this is a dog that can be taught any trick under the sun). This is somebody's soul dog. Give her a piece of your heart, and she will give you hers in its entirety and look at you like you are magic. If left in a (covered) crate where she can't see you, she will settle in about ten minutes. If she can see you passing by, obviously she wants to go where you're going! I don't think she knows to hold it if left alone uncrated, but when supervised and let out regularly, she will go outside, and I have had no accidents thus far. This girl LOVES to run. She loves to play and enjoys her zoomies, but isn't bouncing around like the energizer bunny all day. Fully vetted, come with 2 free dog training sessions and more!
