My story

This beautiful GSD is Trix! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 7/24, and sadly, her people didn't come to reclaim her. Trix is now hoping for a new, forever home where she will be loved and kept safe so that she never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Trix as very sweet and energetic. She is also smart and knows several commands including sit, down, and stay. If you're looking for an active, middle-aged dog to join you on all of life's adventures, please come meet Trix! Trix is approximately 6 years old and weighs 92 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed upon adoption. Trix is waiting patiently in run 89; her ID # is 12199. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
