My story

Kyra is a gentle, soft-hearted pittie girl with the most soulful eyes you’ve ever seen. A little shy at first, she’s the kind of dog who speaks quietly—but her eyes tell a story of strength, hope, and the deep love she’s ready to give. Right now, Kyra is healing from an injury to her back leg. Our veterinary team is evaluating her for potential surgery, so she’s currently available as a foster-to-adopt pup. Through it all, Kyra remains calm, sweet, and quietly brave. She’s looking for someone who sees past her shy moments and gives her the time and patience to come out of her shell. Once she feels safe, Kyra’s love is tender, loyal, and true. If you’ve got a gentle heart and a little extra room on your couch (and in your heart), Kyra might be the perfect match for you. She doesn’t need much—just a loving hand, a safe place to rest, and someone who believes in her bright future. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
