Queen of Cuddles Seeks a Lap of Her Own Hi, I’m Amy — a rare orange lady with an even rarer superpower: I turn laps into pure magic. I’m what you call a professional snuggler. Tap your lap, and I’ll be there in seconds, purring, melting, and reminding you that no matter what kind of day you’ve had, everything is better with a warm, affectionate tabby curled up on you. I was originally rescued from Stanislaus Shelter in Modesto, then adopted through Give Me Shelter by a loving human. Sadly, when their health declined and they had to move into assisted living, I came back to the rescue. I miss them—but I’m ready to bring my love and joy to a new person who needs a soft, chatty shadow like me. I’m equal parts cuddlebug and hostess: Want a movie night? I’ll keep your lap warm and your heart full. Having guests? I’ll make the rounds, collecting pets and charming everyone like a tiny orange diplomat. Need someone to talk to? I have opinions and I’m not afraid to share them (in a very cute, polite way, of course).
