My story

Nora: Sweet, Petite, and Ready to Chirp Her Way Into Your Heart ?? Hi there, I’m Nora! I may be tiny in size, but my personality is huge. Once I’ve had a moment to settle in (I just need a day to get my bearings!), I turn into the cuddliest, chattiest little lovebug you’ve ever met. I adore people. I’ll follow you around like a fluffy little shadow, chirping sweet nothings and meowing for pets, lap time, or just a little attention. I’m also a champion climber—graceful, curious, and always ready to explore a new surface. (Pro tip: don’t be surprised if you find me perched somewhere high, surveying my kingdom with my big, beautiful blue eyes.) At night, I come alive! I love a good round of zoomies or batting around toy mice and rolly balls. During the day, I’m more of a snoozer—especially if there’s a cozy lap involved. I get along wonderfully with my foster buddy Monty. We’re not a bonded pair, but we really do make a great team. I let him take the lead, and I’m always happy to play along. I think I’d thrive with another cat friend—or with someone who’s home a lot and wants a sweet, playful companion by their side. I’m certainly making the most of my nine lives—I’m a proud FIP survivor! After undergoing treatment, I’ve been healthy, active, and happier than ever. I fought hard to beat FIP, and now I’m ready to live large and love large. I was rescued in partnership with ACT Spay Neuter Clinic in Stockton, and I’m so grateful for the second chance they gave me. Now I’m thriving in my San Francisco foster home and ready to meet my forever person. I love being picked up, and enjoy scratches just about everywhere. I’m also polite with dogs—curious and sometimes even playful—though I mostly prefer their company on my own terms.
