My story

Hi! I'm Conrad, a 3-year-old Boston Terrier boy who weighs 18 pounds. Though I am blind, I can see that life is full of big-hearted pet lovers.  If you are one of those, I’m hoping to bring my sweet, snuggly self into your life. General Behavior: Conrad is a laid-back guy with a great enthusiasm for life.  He doesn’t let his blindness slow him down or get in the way of a good cuddle.  He is great with kids of all ages and loves being with his people, big and small.  Likes & Dislikes: Conrad loves toys – the more the better!  He enjoys walks and when it’s time to relax, he likes to be close to his humans. Training: Conrad has good basic manners and is house-trained in his foster home when let out regularly.  He walks well on a leash and sleeps soundly in the people bed at night. He is not a fan of car rides and prefers to have someone home more often than not. Medical: Conrad is blind and requires daily eye drops at a cost of $28 every 6 weeks. Like all dogs, he will also need his monthly flea and heartworm preventatives. Other Animals: Conrad ignores the other dogs in his foster home, preferring to hang out with his humans.  He has not been exposed to cats, but we don’t think he’s a good fit with cats.  Children: This sweet pup is wonderful with children of all ages – loving and curious. Home: Conrad would be fine in an apartment, condo, town home, or single-family residence but will need time to acclimate to his surroundings. He can be left alone for several hours in the home securely with no issues. Grooming: Grooming is low maintenance for this boy given his short, smooth coat. Weekly brushing with a soft brush and regular baths and nail trims will keep him looking and feeling his best.    Overall: If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate pup who might need a little extra help navigating life but will give you his whole heart in return, Conrad may be the one for you! Are you the one for Conrad? Then visit our website at www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption donation is $300. ##2440229##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Conrad, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
