My story

Meet Freckles! Born in January, Freckles is an adorable Hound/Lab mix with the perfect blend of sweetness and puppy energy. True to his hound roots, you’ll often find him with his nose to the ground—sniffing out toys or sneakily stealing socks! Freckles is crate trained, house trained, and great with other dogs and cats. He lenjoys playing in a fenced yard, and is happy to go on walks. He’s eager to please, food motivated, and always ready to earn a treat for being a good boy. If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion with a heart of gold (and a nose for adventure), Freckles might be the perfect fit for your family! Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama, Pennsylvania and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
