My story

This sweet 2-year-old Dachshund mix (with a dash of mystery!) is ready to melt her way into your heart. Peanut Buttercup is a true velcro dog—if you’re there, she wants to be right by your side, soaking up all the love she can get. She’s potty trained, house trained, and crate trained (though she might voice her opinion for the first few minutes).Peanut Buttercup is a treat connoisseur and will happily show off her puppy-dog eyes to earn a snack. Whether you’re on the couch, out in the yard, or just moving from room to room, she’ll be your constant, loyal shadow. If you’ve been looking for a loving little sidekick, Peanut Buttercup is ready to be your new best friend! Did you know that when you adopt from the Maggie Society, your new family member comes with two copies of vet records. All Maggie dogs are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention prior to adoption. Your adoption fee goes towards the vetting of another dog or puppy in need. If interested in adopting, please complete an application. An approved application from The Maggie Society is valid for up to one year. It is not necessary to complete additional applications for dogs or puppies of interest if you have already been approved.
