My story

Lisa is now 6 months old—and she’s spent nearly every day of her life in a shelter. She came to us back in early March as an 8–10 week old puppy, abandoned alongside her two siblings. Both her brother and sister have since found loving homes, but Lisa is still waiting. She's growing up behind kennel doors, passed over time and time again. And we just don’t understand why. Lisa is sweet, playful, and full of love. She adores toys, lights up for attention, and has the happiest, goofiest energy when someone stops to play with her. She’s bursting with potential—she just needs a chance. Because she’s spent her whole life in a shelter, Lisa hasn’t had the opportunity to learn what it means to live in a home. She’ll need some patience and guidance to catch up on her training, but she’s smart and eager to please. With a little consistency and a lot of love, Lisa will thrive. It’s hard to watch such a bright, loving pup spend the most important months of her life waiting. Lisa deserves more. She deserves a family. A bed. A backyard. A best friend.
