My story

Yaz A17693184 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -She’s a beautiful girl and such a big baby!-She’s starts off very timid-She needs lots of encouragement walking on leash and in unfamiliar situations. She doesn’t pull much though!-She’s super friendly once she’s comfortable with you-She’s affectionate and was gives kisses-I did some play bows at her and that sparked her! She started doing awkward little zoomies and it was hilarious. She’s big and it was funny!-When she trusts you she loves to be in you lap for pets and belly rubs!-She’s very treat motivated, sits and takes them gently. She can even catch them as well.-She’s just a big, lap dog baby who will just need someone to go a little bit slow and be patient with her until she fully opens up. -She’s going to be a big, playful girl when she comes out of her shell!-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
