My story

Callie is a stunning 1-year-old Calico who’s waiting for her forever home. While she may be shy when she first meets you, give her a little time and patience—and you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate companion who loves to be petted and doted on. Once she warms up, Callie turns into a total goofball! She’s playful, curious, and full of energy. Whether it’s chasing feather toys or watching birds from the window, she’s always entertaining herself (and you!). She’s also a purr machine—whether she’s playing, lounging nearby, or especially when food is involved, you’ll hear her rumble. Callie would thrive in a home with another friendly, playful cat to help bring out her confident side. She’s looking for a calm, loving family who will let her blossom at her own pace. * Loves birdwatching *Enjoys interactive toys * Would love a playful kitty companion * Shy but affectionate once she trusts you. We affectionately called her Mama Callie after we rescued her from an approaching storm and found out she was pregnant! She spent that first night at the Mazie’s Mission vet clinic, and surprised us the next morning with the most beautiful kittens! She went to a foster home with her babies and took excellent care of them. Once she finished her mommy duties, she got a foster home of her own, and began to flourish…learning how to live in a family.
