My story

I think Dorothy knows she’s cute! Dorothy is a 6 yr-old 12lb schnauzer/terrier mix that came in to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/8 along with Blanche from the same household. The shelter is calling them THE GOLDEN GIRLS! They are adorable with wonderful outgoing personalities. Dorothy is even more outgoing and friendly than Blanche ...if that’s possible. She’s also a lapdog wanna be. She stayed real close seeking extra attention. She also dances and sits for treats. She’s very happy, alert, well behaved and wants to please. She’s extremely friendly. She prances while walking on a leash and she did her business in the yard. They are a bonded pair as they have been together for probably six years. They love to run and play together. Anyone would be lucky to call these dogs their own!
