My story

Roosevelt is a sweet coonhound mix rescued from the streets of Houston, and eager to find a family to show him as much love as he shows everyone around him! We found him near a busy highway, skin and bones and covered in cuts and bruises, but has since been fostered and proven himself to be a well-behaved, fantastic friend to all. He is very calm and cuddly and lives to be with his humans. Don’t let his sad hound look fool you, he’s a happy-go-lucky guy who loves life! Roosevelt follows all the rules of the house, and is an easy-going guy who likes to relax, doesn't run around the house or cause problems, would be great option for first-time dog owners. We have small kids and lots of dogs coming in and out, and he has a blast! He weighs 55 lbs, perfectly healthy, neutered and heartworm negative… and is ready to find his forever home!
