My story

How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on July 30, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Brigid, our shy little mystery! This sweet girl was found hiding in a car-clearly an undercover agent in the "Too Scared to Ask for Help" division. Life has been a bit overwhelming for Brigid, and she's still figuring out that humans can be kind and homes can be safe. She's very fearful right now and will need a calm, quiet space (her own little retreat) to decompress at her own pace. Think soft blankets, quiet voices, and absolutely no forced snuggles. Brigid needs someone who'll let her come out of her shell when she's ready-and not a minute before. If you can offer a peaceful space and let Brigid set the pace, she just might choose you as her person. At SDHS:Brigid has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed.
