My story

Meet Bowie – Our Rockstar Pup! Currently being fostered in Virginia, 3-year-old Bowie is ready to steal the show and find his forever home! This sweet, soulful lovebug is a total gentleman in the house—affectionate, house-trained, follows the rules, and quick to learn new tricks (he just mastered roll over!). Bowie lives for people—whether he’s greeting guests at home or making new friends on walks, his tail never stops wagging. He’s done wonderfully with kids (10+) and soaks up all the love he can get. Bonus: he’s a healthy snacker who adores fruits and veggies—carrots and watermelon are his favorites! He’s still perfecting his leash manners in busy areas, especially when other dogs bark first (he sometimes takes it as an invite to play!). We haven’t had a chance to fully test him with other dogs or cats yet, but introductions are in the works—stay tuned for updates.  If you’re ready to give this amazing pup the forever stage he deserves, Bowie might just be your perfect match. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary.  Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies.  Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.
