My story

Poor Ido was so taken aback by the tragedy of the fire that claimed his former sanctuary that he didn’t know how to process his feelings of loss. Our team welcomed him to our Long Term Care Home for the right pace of peace and comfort in the less stressful environment. We got to follow this stoic senior’s lead in slowly accepting overtures of friendship with no strings attached. His successes carried forward as he graduated to a quiet room in Bianca’s Furry Friends where he has the opportunity to reconnect with his fellow survivors from the Happy Cat Sanctuary Fire. While he still carries concerns about a lot of attention from humans, he finds his own bliss in the comfort of a shared bed with a soothing friend. A hero who’ll show the same patience at the pace he desires in an adult home will create a life for Ido he had no idea existed for him. ##2400445##
