My story

Introducing Calliope! She was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 8/2. Calliope is 7 years old and weighs in at 46 pounds. She is the sweetest and most adorable little girl! She knows to sit when asked. She loves treats and loves everyone she meets. What a wonderful addition she would be to any family. The staff believe that she is house trained. Are you ready for Calliope? Ask for ID# 12450 Run 872. She will be spayed soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. She has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
