My Foster Writes:Marley Man is a 7-year-old gentle giant with a heart as big as his adorable chunky belly. This low-energy, laid-back sweetheart is happiest when he's lounging in a sunny spot, getting his head scratched, and just vibing with his humans.Marley Man is as kind as they come - even when he's feeling unsure or shy, he remains gentle and polite. He's looking for a calm home where he can relax, feel safe, and maybe get a little help on his weight-loss journey (he promises he'll still be the same chill dude, just in a slightly slimmer package).If you're searching for a mellow, loving companion who's all about comfort and cuddles, Marley Man is ready to be your new best friend.A volunteer writes: Loafing on his perch, Marley Man peers out at Adoptions and waits for someone to notice he's there. While it's true he doesn't do very much to ensure this will happen, we all know the right chance will come his way. Marley Man came to us from a home with many other cats and making sense of the Care Center has proven to be a bit elusive, but his notes read like a love letter of a delightfully fun cat. It's through them we've learned that Marley Man will stand up on his hindlegs for treats and loves to be wherever people are. Shelter life is considerably different and though Marley Man graciously let me pet his big fluffy cheeks as he gently closed his eyes, he's hoping to find his forever home.
