Buttercup Rowan

My story

Hi! My name is Buttercup and I’m an easy-going 9-week old pup ready to steal your heart! I loooove rolling around in my foster mom’s garden and have been VERY helpful with pulling out weeds. I’ve also recently discovered that asparagus grow out from the ground and am very good at harvesting (and eating) them. I’m very food motivated and am working really hard on my recall! I run a little hot, so I’m not a big cuddler for naps, but I do ask my foster mom to pick me up and give me kisses every once in a while. She seems to really like that! I do like to bring my big stuffed animals into my crate with me at night. My favorite sleep positions are upside down or sprawled out next to a toy! I currently sleep about 7 hours through the night in my crate with no complaints! I wake up in the morning ready for potty outside and breakfast. I’ve had zero accidents in my crate, having a good routine helps! After about an hour and a half of playing with my brother, Gingerbread, we go out for potty one more time before our first one hour morning nap. We have a pretty consistent schedule of playing, napping and outside time for potty. I’m getting good at letting my foster parents know that I need to go outside to potty - I’ve learned that if I paw at the sliding door, they’ll let me out to do my business. They seem to really like that, and I love it when they call me a good boy! I have not met any cats yet, but my first foster home had children and my current foster home has 2 big dogs and I’ve loved everyone I have met!!!
