My story

* 4 Little Paws is helping a Texas Animal Shelter by featuring a few wonderful dogs patiently waiting to find forever homes... Meet Remi! Hi there, I’m Remi. If you’re looking for a calm and cuddly best friend, I’m your girl. I’m about 2 years old and weigh 40 pounds. People say I’m a terrier mix, but mostly I’m just a gentle, quiet girl who loves being close to my people. I’m not the kind of dog who needs constant excitement. I’d rather curl up in a cozy spot, nap in the sunshine, and enjoy the peaceful moments with you. My foster family says I’m the easiest dog they’ve ever had. I’m fully potty trained, I use the doggy door like a pro, and I’m very polite in the house. I hardly ever bark, I walk nicely on a leash, and I get along great with other dogs and even cats. I don’t play much, but sometimes I get a little burst of energy and zoom around for a minute just to show you how happy I am. I really love affection. I’ll gently nudge my way in for pets, rest my head on your chest, and stay close for as long as you’ll let me. I sleep in bed with my people at night and always make sure everyone has enough room. I might be mellow, but I still get excited for little adventures. When I see my leash come out, I do happy tippy taps because I know something fun is coming. I love car rides and splashing in the river or a kiddie pool. Water is the best! I may not be flashy or silly, but I promise I’ll be your calm in the chaos and your quiet kind of love! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
