My story

Hey, my name is Islay! I'm a 2 year old grey tabby boy who loves to get face and chin scritches! I'm not timid, but I do need you to go easy with me at first, just so I know you're a cool person who likes cats. Once I let you pet me, I'll want all the pets and attention you have to give! And if you're lucky, I might sing you the song of my people--I'm a chatty boy once I'm comfortable! So if you're looking for a chonk with a good heart and a clear voice, I might be just the kitty for you.    The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    August 9, 2025, 8:56 pm
