Meet Toasted - The Tiny Lovebug Who’ll Call You Home Toasted may be small, but her heart (and her voice!) are huge. She’ll spot you from across the yard and start meowing immediately, her adorable little calls growing louder the closer you get. And once you’re near? She runs right over, ready for all the pets her paws can handle. This sweet girl, born 5/12/25, loves attention so much that she’ll stand up on her hind legs just to reach your hand if it’s not moving fast enough. She’s playful, cuddly, and always in the mood for some love. Toasted enjoys chasing toys just as much as she enjoys curling up in a cozy cat bed. She gets along well with other cats and would thrive in a home where she can share her affection, get plenty of playtime, and be someone’s loyal, purring shadow. She is young enough to adapt to a cat-friendly dog, and should do fine with kind, gentle children. If you’re looking for a cat who follows you with love, meows like she’s narrating your life, and gives her whole heart every day, Toasted is ready to warm up your world. We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies." All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Toasted is a suggested minimum of $75 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
