My story

This beautiful Husky mix is Hera! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 8/2 along with her sister/bestie, Athena, who has now been adopted. No one has come to reclaim Hera so she is now hoping for new, forever home where she will be loved and kept safe. The volunteers describe Hera as friendly, silly, and playful. If you're looking for a young, active dog to join your family, please come meet Hera! Hera is approximately 4 years old and weighs 35 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Hera is waiting patiently in run 801; her ID # is 12423. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
