Millie – ID 12474 – Kennel 808 Arrived as a stray on August 3 Hound mix – Tri-color – Female – 12 years old – 50 lbs Up to date on vaccines – Heartworm negative Millie is a sweet old gal with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. At 12 years young, she should be enjoying the comfort of a warm bed and the quiet company of a loving family—not spending her golden years in a shelter. When we took Millie outside, she wasn’t interested in sitting still for photos—she had more important things to do! With her nose to the ground, she happily explored, taking in all the wonderful smells the world had to offer. Like any true hound, her curiosity is strong, and every scent tells her a story. Despite the uncertainty she’s faced, Millie remains calm, friendly, and easygoing. She’s the kind of companion who will enjoy slow strolls, cozy naps, and simply being near her people. This beautiful girl has so much love left to give—she just needs someone to open their heart and home to her. Please consider giving Millie the peaceful retirement she deserves. She’ll repay you with loyalty, gratitude, and the quiet joy that only a senior dog can bring. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
