Murphy (Orange marbled kitty)

My story

Murphy is a playful ball of fun with a very curious personality.  He was found when a local resident of New Cumberland was attending to a colony she was feeding.  Due to his age the feeder trapped him and his sister, Willow, and brought them into care so that he would remain safe and healthy.  He entered care on June 30 to a foster home in New Cumberland until he was able to get his wellness check.   Murphy was given a wellness exam in July and is believed to be born in early April 2025.  He is currently living in a foster home in Palmyra where he lives with other kitties and 3 dogs.  The dogs are new to him so he is a bit curious of them and getting to know them slowly.  The other kitties he is just fine with and actually would do better if he was in a home with another kitty.  Murphy does have a sibling, Willow , however, they are not bonded and any other kitty as a companion would be fine for him   Murphy is an explorer, he will follow the other kitties around the house and loves to get into things.  His favorite place to be is the catio where he will sit in the cat tree and watch the birds in the feeder.  He really like the cat tree and loves to climb up and down and play on it.  He is a bit timid when people approach him, however, once he realizes there is no reason to be scared will come out to enjoy interactions. With that personality, Murphy  would do best in a home with older children as sometimes noises and quick movement will cause him to retreat.  A home with a companion animal would also be best for him.   His orange coloring is absolutely beautiful and he has a very sleek shiny coat.     Murphy's adoption donation is 135.00 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
