**ALL ADOPTIONS INCLUDE A HOME VISIT, YOU MUST LIVE IN BROWARD & PALM BEACH COUNTIES** Meet Drew, A Gentle Soul Ready for His New Beginning At just 2 years old, Drew has already endured more neglect than any dog should ever know. When we rescued him, his little body told the story of his past. He was malnourished, unkempt, and starved for the simplest thing of all, human touch. Drew longs to be close. He melts into your arms when held and gently nudges you for belly rubs. That's his way of saying, “I’ve been waiting for this my whole life.” His heart blossoms with each bit of affection, and he would thrive in a home where someone is home often, ready to share cuddles and take him on short, happy outings to brighten the day. As Drew heals, his playful spark is beginning to shine through. Every day, his energy grows, and you can almost see his spirit coming back to life. When he reaches a healthy weight, Drew will be around 9–11 pounds, the perfect size for a lap and a warm spot beside you. Drew has already had a hernia repair during his neuter surgery, and his bloodwork looks good. We’re currently waiting on biopsy results for a bump near his rectum, which will be removed once we have the full picture. Until then, we are accepting applications from serious, compassionate adopters and will conduct home visits to ensure he finds the loving environment he truly deserves. This sweet boy carries both resilience and trust in his eyes. He is not just looking for a home; he is looking for a safe haven where his gentle personality can bloom and his days can be filled with the love he’s been denied for so long. If your heart has room for a dog who will repay your kindness with unconditional devotion, Drew is ready to begin his forever chapter with you. This dog's adoption fee is $550 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). If you are interested, please fill out the adoption application. For additional information regarding our adoption process, please check our FAQ's Page. *All dogs in the care of Get a Life Pet Rescue live in loving foster homes while waiting for their perfect match. They don't live in cages or crates (unless there is a medical reason to do so.) They are treated as family pets while in our care. * All dogs in our care are fed premium brand holistic food as well as supplements and vitamins specific to each dog's needs. We don't buy inexpensive bulk dry kibble, our rescues are fed premium wet food diets as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program to ensure maximum health. .*All of our rescues receive complete quality vetting, including full dental cleaning with pre-op bloodwork, spay/neuter, vaccines, and grooming. Dogs in need of specialized medicine will be seen by specialists, such as full cardiac workups, and ophthalmologist visits, all suspicious lumps, and bumps are biopsied, and every medical need is transparent to potential adopters. *Once you adopt from Get a Life Pet Rescue, you become part of our compassionate family and we are here for you if a problem with your precious dog arises. ##2487271##
