My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I’m Hashbrown and I would love to meet you! My foster mom says I’m the most eager for attention cat she’s ever met (and it sounds like she’s been around a lot of cats!). I love being on her lap when she works and I’ll lay there for hours if she lets me. I love laying in the window and catching some sun, slightly surprising given I’m kind of a redhead but foster mom says I’m more buff than orange. I am a two year old boy who was turned into a high-kill shelter in Los Angeles when my owner left for college. I’ve been a bit confused having my world turned upside down. So I am looking for someone understanding. Like some male cats, I can get overstimulated and don’t know what to do with my energy and may take it out on your ankles or wrists with bites. We think this could be because of my hormones since I was recently neutered. My foster mom hopes as my hormones settle I’ll chill out but she wants my future adopter to know that sometimes I go land shark mode.  Because of this, I would be best in a home without young kids and would be best as an only cat. We don’t know if I could be friends with other cats.  I haven’t been around dogs so we’re not sure if I like them. We also think if I am able to be out in a home & not kept separate in one room, I will be more chill.  I love to play with toys and wands and I love helping you clean the house! The swiffer is my favorite but I also am really handy when it comes time to make the bed. I am also amazing at using a scratching post and don’t mess with foster moms couch which she says slightly helps offset my unsolicited chomps.  I can’t wait to have a forever home of my own and would love to meet you. I am fostered in North County San Diego. To apply to meet me, please email foster mom at laurenerudy@gmail.  My adoption fee is $100. Neutered & up to date on vax  Hashbrown is listed as a courtesy post.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 10, 2025, 10:13 am
