My story

Name: Juri Age: 5 months Gender: Female (spayed) Breed: Jindo mix Color: Black/White Weight: 9.3 kg (20 lbs) Height: 40 cm (16 in) at the shoulder Rescue Story: Juri was found with her two siblings abandoned in a moving box in a grassy lot near an apartment construction site. For a week, they survived by eating insects and worms until they were finally rescued and brought to safety. With People: Juri is affectionate and loves people, but she has a shy side . It usually takes her about a week to fully adjust to new people or environments. On walks, she may avoid strangers ‍. She generally prefers women, is a bit timid with men, but is excellent with children under 13 . She’s comfortable being picked up and will roll over for belly rubs once she feels safe. With Dogs: A true social pup! She’s friendly with dogs of all sizes, greeting both familiar and unfamiliar dogs warmly and often inviting them to play. She gains confidence from other dogs and feels most secure with a canine friend by her side. With Cats: Not yet tested—can be arranged. Energy Level: Moderate—she enjoys outdoor adventures but is calm and relaxed afterward. ‍ Walking: Great in quiet areas, but busy streets with heavy traffic can still be intimidating. She’s improving with practice and gaining confidence each day. Other Notes: No food guarding , rarely barks , calm in a kennel . Nervous about car rides and may get motion sickness. Potty trained for both indoor pee pads and outdoor breaks. Juri is ready for a loving home — especially one with another friendly dog to be her buddy. Could that be you?
