My story

Save Sugar – Sweet Momma Cat Needs a Home of Her Own Sugar’s journey to safety began when a kind-hearted Good Samaritan found her alone outside, struggling to survive. She had no home, no one to care for her — but she did have four beautiful, good-natured kittens she was fiercely protecting. Taken in by our rescue, Sugar proved to be a wonderful, attentive mother, raising her babies with love and devotion until each of them found a forever home. Now it’s Sugar’s turn to be cherished. This lovely girl lives up to her name — she’s gentle, sweet, and affectionate once she feels safe. Because she spent so much time alone outdoors, she can be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms into a loving, loyal companion. Like many mama cats, Sugar’s protective instincts are strong, and she prefers not to share her space with other cats. She’s happiest when she can have her home — and her people — all to herself. Life at the café has been a difficult adjustment for her, surrounded by other cats and constant activity. She dreams of the peace and security of her very own home. Sugar has given so much of herself to protect and care for her babies — now she’s the one who needs saving. Please give Sugar the loving forever home she’s been waiting for, where she can finally relax, feel safe, and be adored. We have dozens of cats and kittens available! All our adoptable cats are located at the Frisky Cat Cafe in St Augustine. 1092 Ponce De Leon Blvd (US 1). Visiting the cafe is a great way to find your perfect kitty. All of our cats and kittens are socialized and happy to interact with visitors, so you will meet them with their true personalities.
