Imagine you were a centerfold model living your best life, and the next thing you know is you were left abandoned and alone in an apartment. This is Sassy Frass. It happened to her. She is so sweet that we assume she did not eat her people, but no one knows what happened to them. She definitely has been eating something because she has extra pounds on her. Since her insurance does not cover Pupzemic she is working on losing pounds by maintaining a well-balanced diet and exercise. Sassy has the best personality! She loves everyone! Dogs, cats, kids, and even adults. Her personality is so happy go lucky from the time you meet her. To be overweight she sure can break it down and drop it like she’s hot! Sassy is around 6 years old and 25.8 pounds. 17-20 lbs would be more ideal. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. ADULT DOGS (over 1 year) $225.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, first set of routine yearly vaccines, heartworm/lyme test, two rounds of dewormer, one  round of flea medication, and Microchip. Pet Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster based volunteer rescue located in Fairmont, WV.  We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet.  We do not fly or use transport companies.  Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens.  Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough.  If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done.  All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet.  All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7.  The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family.  You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval.  This will enable us to accept another pet into that home.  Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered.
