Rebel

My story

Rebel is an adorable neutered male chihuahua x weighing about 7-8 lbs. He is a senior pup, estimated age is anywhere from 10-15yrs. Don't let his age scare you away, he and his buddy (Chica) have lots of cuddles & love left to fill your life with lots of joy. He also has the BEST snaggle tooth ever! He is good with people and gets along well with other dogs. Due to his size and age, we'd suggest he's best suited for homes with older kids (8+). We haven't had the chance to cat-test him, so we're unsure how he'd do in a home with cats. He is medically up-to-date, housebroken, and crate trained. Rebel is looking for someone who can provide him with love, care, and attention; ideally with his bestie, Chica, who he loves to snuggle up with and give kisses to. While they are not required to be adopted together, we do hope they can find a home together! As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
