My story

Meet Odie! 🐾 Odie is a young lab mix pup with a heart full of sweetness and a playful spirit. He loves chasing the flirt pole, splashing in puddles, and going absolutely nuts over a hose—water play is definitely his favorite! Like many pups, Odie is still learning about the world around him. He can be a little nervous with new things, especially big objects and cars, but he’s already made great progress and continues to build his confidence. He’s very treat-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. Potty training was a breeze with Odie—he’s great about holding his bladder and has quickly picked up on what’s expected of him. He’s also a good listener; when told “no,” he responds well and redirects easily. With more practice on leash walks and continued patience as he grows, Odie is sure to blossom into an amazing lifelong companion. This smart, affectionate boy is ready to bring joy, laughter, and a little splash of water fun into his forever home! The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog.
